Molly Reeder
Molly Reeder is a painter and stylist specializing in botanicals and food illustration. She paints large scale, detailed watercolors of edible plant-based subjects to highlight their unique shape and beauty. Molly seeks meaningful collaborations through the lens of her artwork, where her paintings and illustrations help to support and showcase community efforts for LGBTQ, BIPOC & other minority run organizations.
Food styling and baking are complimentary focuses that serve a symbiotic relationship to her work. Molly co-organizes the Richmond Bakers Against Racism fundraising program.
She spent many years traveling and living across the world in places such as New Zealand, Bulgaria and Hawaii. Molly now finds a home in Richmond, VA with her husband. She is inspired by food ancestry, plants, and the human connection and narrative within these.
Molly’s work has been featured in such publications as Saveur Magazine, Taproot Magazine, Life and Thyme, PALM Hawaii, and Bake From Scratch (selected as one of the top dozen bakers in America for 2018)
